If you are looking for off the beaten track then head down to Krabi and out to the Trang Islands. Here, hundreds of untouched Thai islands await.

This is Thailand before the tourism boom, where you won’t see any chain restaurants, just beach shacks selling their wares. Also, make sure you go for a swim in the sea in the evening to disturb the phosphorescent and marvel at its illuminations under the water.
